This Privacy Policy explains how Clean Everything Inc. ("Clean Ride," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use the Clean Ride apps, websites, and services (together, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Who we are

Clean Ride is a booking and payments platform that connects car owners with independent car washes and detailers. When you book, the wash you select is an independent business that performs the service. This Policy covers our platform; the washes are responsible for their own practices.

2. Information we collect

• Account information — your name, phone number, and email address when you sign up or book.
• Booking information — the wash and service you choose, appointment times, and your vehicle details (such as type and, if you provide it, license plate).
• Location — approximate or precise location (with your permission) to show washes near you.
• Payment information — payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not store your full card number; we receive limited details such as confirmation and the last four digits.
• Communications — messages you send us, and records of notifications (SMS, push, email) we send you.
• Device & usage data — app/device identifiers, log data, and how you use the Service, to keep it secure and improve it.

3. How we use information

• Provide the Service — create bookings, hold your time, and share what a wash needs to serve you (your name, vehicle, and service).
• Process payments and payouts through Stripe.
• Send transactional messages — booking confirmations, reminders, one-time login codes, and status updates.
• Provide customer support and resolve disputes.
• Maintain safety and security, prevent fraud, and enforce our terms.
• Improve and develop features, and comply with legal obligations.

4. How we share information

• With the car wash you book — the details needed to fulfill your booking (name, vehicle, service, time, and contact number so they can reach you about the appointment).
• Payment processing — with Stripe to charge you and pay the wash.
• Service providers — vendors who help us operate (hosting, messaging, analytics), under confidentiality obligations.
• Legal & safety — when required by law, or to protect rights, safety, and the integrity of the Service.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Text messages & notifications

We send transactional SMS and push notifications related to your account and bookings (for example, one-time codes and booking updates). Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out of non-essential messages by replying STOP to texts or changing your device notification settings; essential messages needed to operate your account may still be sent.

6. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may request deletion as described below.

7. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your choices & rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to request a copy. To make a request, contact us at cleanrideapp@gmail.com. You can also manage location and notification permissions in your device settings.

9. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here with a new "Last updated" date, and material changes may be communicated in the app or by email.
